SkyCaddie has launched a new product designed to teach golfers how to hole more putts.
A single SkyCaddie SuperTag placed on a putter grip will reveal exactly what your putter did on every putt: for the ones you missed, and the ones you holed.
When paired with a smartphone and the SkyGolf App, the SuperTag instantly shows a virtual 3D model of the putting stroke and the data behind it.
It measures 16 critical putting metrics across three key phases of the putting stroke – address, transition and impact – plus the pace and tempo of each putt.

The powerful SkyCaddie SuperTag packs a wide range of data measurement technology into a tiny device which weighs just 9g and sits almost imperceptibly on the end of the putter grip. These include clubhead speed, tempo, backswing time, downswing time and total stroke time, along with key metrics at all points of the swing.

The results can then be displayed in an instant 3D visual animation of each putting stroke, with crucial data overlaid. Over time the results accumulate in the SkyGolf 360 Cloud, and users will be able to identify the common factors between the putts that were missed – and the putts that find the bottom of the cup.
